Investment Banking Associate

Blacklock is currently partnered with a leading investment bank in the media and entrainment sector seeking an Associate for the firm’s Los Angeles or New York City office. The Associate is an integral part of the deal team and will work directly with senior bankers on a variety of client engagements, including sell and buy-side M&A and capital raises. Requirements Minimum of 2.5 years of M&A experience in either investment banking, transaction advisory Candidates with an accounting qualification and 2+ years audit or similar finance/accounting experience preferred Fully competent with Excel, PowerPoint and Word Strong financial analytical skills M&A experience in the media industry and/or understanding of the UK and US entertainment industry is preferred Well-presented and ability to communicate effectively and professionally as there will be significant client contact FINRA Series 79 License and Series 63 License or the ability to obtain both Offers High level of responsibility and direct exposure to senior bankers and clients Lean deal teams with significant execution responsibility Opportunity to work on high-profile transactions in the media & entertainment sector Clear path for career progression within a growing platform #J-18808-Ljbffr
