Many of the innovative programs and vital services that we offer are not available elsewhere.We are searching for Swim Instructors. Dates are 5/6/26-6/10/26 on Wednesday's from 4pm-6pm at the Queensbury Elementary School Pool.Responsibilities:Will provide instruction and supervision of aquatic lessons and activities.Assist client in and out of the poolAdhere to standard safety practices, as well as job, department and Center policies and procedures related to safetyAssist clients in preparation for activities as needed, including transferring and putting on of floatation equipmentClean/maintain pool deck sanitation as directed by Queensbury School Pool protocol and in accordance with New York State Department of Health standardsParticipate in training and development activities in accordance with department and Agency policiesEngage in pool set up and closing duties in accordance with Queensbury pool policyAttend meetings as scheduled by DepartmentNotify supervisor of incident and complete Incident Reports when necessaryInspect all waterfront equipment and report any defects with recommendations for correction to supervisorRequirements: High School diploma or equivalent Less than 1 year of job related experience, specifically with people with developmental disabilitiesAt The Center for Disability Services, we don’t just accept difference – we celebrate it, support it, and thrive on it for the benefit of our employees and the people we support.
