Surgery - Cardiovascular Physician
Integrity Locums
Coverage Needed
- ASAP - Ongoing
- Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM - 5:00 PM
- Weekend Coverage: Likely 1 weekend per month
- Night Call: Monday through Thursday, 4:30 PM - 7:00 AM
Clinical Details
- Inpatient surgical cases, pre and postoperative rounding
- No clinic/inpatient consults
- All rounding done with an Advanced Practice Provider (APP)
- APP creates progress and consult notes; surgeon adds and cosigns notes
- Weekend coverage includes rounding on all patients with a Physician Assistant (PA), only emergent cases to the OR, and all new consults
- Night Call: Surgical PA is first call for all floor patients
- CVICU has a Cardiothoracic Surgery APP in the unit most nights
- Emergency Room will call the surgeon if needed
Requirements
- Board Certified
- Active FL License or IMLC
