Registered Nurse ICU

Job Summary:


Seeking experienced ICU nurses to provide specialized care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. The role involves delivering critical patient management and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients to identify changes in condition.
• Administer medications, fluids, and interventions according to physician orders.
• Perform advanced procedures such as IV starts, arterial lines, and CVLs.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations, providing life-saving interventions as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 2 years of ICU experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required prior to end of orientation.
• Demonstrated proficiency in critical care procedures and equipment.
• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with Cerner EMR system preferred.
