Perfusionist

Job TitleMonitor and operate an array of extracorporeal and blood testing equipment during surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Educate hospital staff and visitors about the practice of perfusion. Perform as a clinical instructor for students rotating in the clinical arena (optional). Participate in non-clinical duties as agreed upon with the Chief Perfusionist. Affordable and comprehensive benefits package.EducationSuccessful graduation from an American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion accredited cardiovascular training program. Maintain clinical competency as assigned by the chief perfusionist.LicensureRequires either current certification eligibility or current status of Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion. If certification eligible, required to become certified within 24 months of receipt of certificate or degree from an accredited perfusion education program. Will have the appropriate state perfusion license as dictated by the Maryland Board of Physicians.Salary RangeMinimum 75.40/hour - Maximum 124.44/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
