Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing essential physical therapy services in an educational setting. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference by supporting students of all grade levels through direct, onsite therapy within a school environment. With a manageable caseload, you’ll be able to work closely with approximately 35 students, helping them achieve their developmental and educational goals.

Key Qualifications:

Valid State License for Physical Therapy (PT)
Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric and school-aged populations
Comfort and skill in delivering itinerant services—supporting multiple sites and grade levels as needed
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner with teachers, staff, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver physical therapy assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring for students as identified in their individual education plans (IEPs)
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other related service providers to support each student’s success and access to the school environment
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with both school district and state requirements
Provide direct therapy and consultative support on strategies, modifications, and equipment for educational access
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional expertise to develop student goals and approaches

Enjoy consistent hours, working Monday through Friday from 8AM to 4PM, for a total of 37.5 onsite hours each week throughout the school year contract.
