Key Responsibilities for the Cost Accountant:

Cost Accountant track and analyze costs across labor, materials, subcontractors, and operations
Maintain and evaluate inventory activity, variances, and transfer pricing across locations
Prepare cost reports and support leadership with actionable financial insights
Assist with month-end and year-end close, including accruals and reconciliations
Partner with operations to review production data and improve cost accuracy
Support standard cost development, updates, and variance analysis

Qualifications for the Cost Accountant:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2+ years of accounting experience with exposure to cost accounting
