As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security‑related needs with professionalism. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, report suspicious behavior or hazards, and document incidents according to site procedures. Communicate professionally with healthcare personnel, visitors, and emergency responders while supporting a welcoming care environment. Minimum Requirements: Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
