Position Summary In this role, you will help organize, coach, and lead tennis programming, including group clinics, private lessons, player development sessions, leagues, tournaments, and special events. You will play an important role in creating a positive, welcoming, and professional experience for members and guests while helping support and grow the tennis program at Tyler Racquet Club. Responsibilities: Providing private and group tennis instruction Assisting with clinics, leagues, and tournaments Promoting tennis participation among club members Maintaining courts, equipment oversight, and professional standards Assisting with junior development programs Helping coordinate tennis events, tournaments, leagues, socials, and special programming. Providing racquet restringing services as needed and maintaining professional standards for racquet service. Following all facility policies, safety procedures, and operational guidelines. Assisting with court organization, equipment setup, and program logistics as needed. Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Skill level equivalent to a minimum 4.0 USTA rating. Strong knowledge of tennis fundamentals, rules, scoring, and teaching methodologies. Effective and engaging teaching styles suited for player development. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Friendly, positive, and professional demeanor. Ability to build strong relationships with players, parents, members, and staff. Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills. Basic computer and email proficiency.
