Tech - X-ray/Rad Tech

Job Description

Job Summary:
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures as an X-ray/Rad Tech to assist healthcare providers in diagnosing medical conditions. Ensure high-quality image acquisition while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Operate radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images of patients' bones and tissues.
• Follow established protocols to ensure accurate and clear imaging results.
• Maintain proper infection control and patient safety procedures during all procedures.
• Document procedures accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform regular quality checks.

Qualifications:

• Valid ARRT certification or state licensing as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Prior experience with GE imaging equipment preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Proficient in operating EPIC EHR and radiology systems.
• Ability to work 13-week assignment with 13-hour shifts, Thursday through Saturday from 1800 to 0730.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent patient interaction skills.
