Location Viceroy Chicago, IL Overview We are currently seeking a Server Assistant to join our team and have a positive, service-oriented attitude and a desire to contribute to the team. Supporting servers in satisfying guest needs by taking direction and helping to serve all items. Responsibilities Scope of this position: Maintain a constant knowledge of menu items Verify food matches the orders on tickets Listen to, and promptly act to resolve guest issues and requests Hold effective communication with management and peers Support all food & beverage outlets when needed/asked Ensure uniform, grooming, and hygiene standards meet the requirements set forth within the associate handbook Qualifications Qualified candidates will possess the following: Ability to deliver exceptional guest service experience Must be knowledgeable about local area Communicating within F&B and with other departments regularly and effectively Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 15 lbs. frequently and up to 75 lbs. occasionally Flexible schedule - Willing and able to work shift duties that may include evenings, nights, Overnights, weekends, and holidays.
