Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: Required Certifications: TNCC, PALS, ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Acute ER Experience Description: The Emergency Department has 28 beds and a team of 15 staff members. The day shift consists of a Charge Nurse, 10 RNs, 2-3 Techs, and 1 Unit Secretary. The night shift includes a Charge Nurse, 10 RNs, 2-3 Techs, and 1 Unit Secretary. Patient ratios are 4:1. The unit utilizes EMR - Meditech. Candidates must have acute ER experience. Preferred skills include trauma experience. Typical procedures performed on the unit include IV start, blood draw, resuscitation, and EKG. The ideal personality fit is active and personable. Work requires 4 weekend shifts per month, with no on-call duties.
