Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Performs in vivo nuclear medicine procedures using tagged radionuclides. Doses patients with radiopharmaceuticals and pharmaceuticals as prescribed by physician orders, and under the supervision of a Radiologist. Completes quality control and quality assurance procedures as required by regulatory guidelines. Ensures complete and accurate data entry in the Hospital Information System and Picture Archival and Communication System. Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the ARRT or CNMT certified through NMTCB. A BS degree in nuclear medicine from an accredited college or university is preferred.
