Working 48-60 hours per week. The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment at various client locations. This role involves troubleshooting electrical issues, ensuring compliance with safety and electrical codes, and performing preventive maintenance on a wide range of electrical systems in industrial, commercial, or residential settings. This position will eventually join Local IBEW Union.Our Ideal CandidateHas OSHA 30 cardHas field experience as an Electrician on large projects.Holds a state journeyman licenseCan work autonomously and creatively solve problems.Has a growth mindset and is always looking to continually learn and grow.Day in the LifeInstall, inspect, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment according to local and national electrical codes.Troubleshoot and repair electrical malfunctions or equipment failures on-site.Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.Plan layout and installation of electrical systems for construction or renovation projects.Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections on electrical components and systems.Test electrical systems using specialized tools (voltmeters, oscilloscopes, ammeters, etc.).Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure timely and accurate work completion.Document all work performed, including repairs, replacements, and system updates.Adhere to all relevant safety procedures and industry regulations.Provide field reports and recommendations for system improvements or upgrades.Minimum QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalentTrade school diploma/certification preferredMinimum 3-5 years of industry experience performing work in the field setting.Ability to work as a team with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.Open to learning new skills and willingly accepts feedback for continuous improvement.Dedicated team player with strong customer service orientation.Must pass drug screening.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
