The Associate Consultant works with Senior Associates Consultants to provide advice to clients regarding their benefit programs with an initial emphasis in defined benefit plans. We work with you to develop their financial, business, and consultative skills. Your career path could range from a pension actuarial focus to a broad client strategy role, guiding finance, and human resource executives regarding their retirement, health and welfare, and employee communication needs. The skills you bring Mathematics, Actuarial Science or quantitative subject major preferred Strong writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills Intellectual curiosity, creativity, along with analytical and problem-solving skills A high aptitude to learn new things quickly and adapt to new situations while being inventive and prioritizing responsibilities Demonstrated commitment to the actuarial career path via a passing score on at least one Society of Actuaries examination The Fidelity Workplace Consulting Group is comprised of over 600 professionals who help clients solve sophisticated problems. Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles. The base salary range for this position is $67,000-$127,000 per year. Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors. Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
