Forklift Operator

Forklift OperatorThe Forklift Operator is responsible for assembling customer orders and loading completed orders onto delivery trucks.Key Activities:Visualize, fulfill, and implement the company vision and core values.Accurately and efficiently assemble customer orders for delivery or pick-up.Completes any necessary paperwork associated with incoming/outgoing materials.Load and unload materials to and from delivery trucks.Process, document, and stock incoming materials from vendors, etc.Provide exceptional customer service and team support.Maintain a clean and safe working environment, identifying and addressing potential safety concerns.Operate forklift and other equipment according to specification and in alignment with designated safety standards.Adhere to company policies and procedures.Perform other duties as required.Knowledge and Skills:Able to safely operate a forklift and other equipment.Strong process/procedure orientation.Effective written and verbal communication/comprehension skills.Strong team and customer service skills.Ability to achieve performance objectives in a time-sensitive and quality-centered environment.Demonstrates initiative and reliability with minimal supervision.Safety conscious.Education/Experience:High School Diploma or GED.Forklift experience (certification provided through Sunpro).Track record of safety-conscious performance.Physical Requirements:Physical Work Requirements - Heavy: exerting up to 50 lbs of force regularly.Repetitive motion associated with operating a forklift and other equipment, including climbing on and off the forklift.Frequent bending, standing, lifting, and ongoing physical activity.Outdoor working conditions, sometimes in extreme climates.This description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, efforts, or work conditions associated with this job.
