Position Summary: The Sr. Manager of Reporting and Analytics will be responsible for Sun Auto’s analytic strategy, analytics tools, Reporting, and execution of insights generation. The individual will be responsible for the strategic direction of how reports are used and developed for future capability. This individual will need to align the strategic roadmap for analytics, ensuring the organization is meeting the strategic priorities throughout the business. The Sr. Manager will report directly to the Vice President of Strategic Operations, but will work closely with members of Operations, Ops excellence, and other critical parts of IT, and Data Management organizations Responsibilities: Manages Sun Auto’s big data analytical tools Translates learnings from the big data tools into actionable cross-functional strategies Ensures cross-functional integration and rollout of the tools across different business units Monitors and manages any potential channel conflicts with the tools Reviews requests for changes and one-time requests for output of data to ensure prioritization of requests and strategic relevance Manages day to day responsibilities of the Data and reporting tools, and system. Key Accountabilities Oversees the expansion of Sun’s big data analytics tools, and other informational tools; acts as single-point-of-contact for the tools and content Develops new concepts and applications for the tools and their application to additional business issues and channels Manages the go-to-market strategy for analytical tools both to internal and external customers, including "train the trainer" sessions and collecting feedback for further tool improvement/ refinement Require Qualifications: (Skills, Experience, Education) Bachelor's degree with a business focus preferably in data analytics or statistics 5-10 years of successful experience leading cross-functional teams, preferably in the tire industry Must possess a data-driven mindset and be able to converse with both technical experts and non-technical team members Strong Technical Capabilities and programming with Sequel, Alteryx, and Power BI. Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to clearly present recommendations, and summarize complex issues Preferred Qualifications: (Skills, Experience, Education) MBA or other graduate degree highly preferred Experience with translating big data or analytics projects to tangible programs in a large, national retail business a plus Experience working with cross-functional teams is required Benefits At Sun Auto we recognize that benefits play a vital role in helping ensure the health and financial security of employees and their families.
