Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with middle school students (grades 6-8) is preferred
• Comprehensive understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Ability to adapt instructional methods and materials to meet diverse learning needs
• Strong communication skills with students, families, and fellow educators
• Competence with inclusive classroom strategies, behavioral management, and collaboration

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specially designed instruction in accordance with students' IEPs
• Maintain and manage a caseload of approximately 35 students, ensuring compliance and support
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to maximize student achievement
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, progress reporting, and parent communications
• Foster a positive, learning-focused classroom environment for all learners
• Implement effective classroom management and evidence-based therapeutic interventions
