Job Details Job Location: NXP in Ed Bluestein - Austin, TX 78721 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $18.00 - $20.00 hourly (administrative duties); $30.00 - $55.00 hourly for personal training services, health coaching services and/or group fitness class delivery (DOE; up to 5 hours per week) Travel Percentage: None Location: NXP Ed Bluestein - Austin, TX Role and Responsibilities The purpose of the Fitness & Wellness Coordinator is to provide professional fitness services to members and clients of the center, appropriately meeting their health and fitness needs and supporting the General Manager in overseeing daily fitness operations of all Personal Training related services. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during interactions and work related relationships with all persons at the center. Specific Responsibilities Sell and deliver personal training sessions to clients Schedule and conduct new member onboarding sessions Assist with new member outreach and follow-up with low users Assist members in using safe and effective exercise form during their workouts Maintain a clean, safe and orderly fitness floor, racking weights. Includes picking up loose towels, water bottles, magazines, cleaning equipment, etc. Perform fitness assessments (movement and posture assessments, blood pressure checks, body composition tests) as requested by members Support, teach and encourage members to meet their fitness goals Work together as a team with all departments Assist in development and implementation of new fitness programs/classes Assist with scheduling coverage of fitness floor hours Assist with payroll Assist with managing the MindBody member management system Administer emergency care to members and guests in need of assistance Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor Other Functions Be knowledgeable about all programs and activities offered by Active Wellness Promote club services and activities Assist with keeping the club well stocked and clean Attend Active Wellness site meetings and trainings Qualifications 4 year college or university in a health-related, exercise science, kinesiology, or physical education major preferred Communication skills, customer service oriented Minimum of one year Fitness experience preferred. Current Nationally accredited Personal Training Certification or Health Coach Certification. Customer service oriented ability to provide Personal Training and/or Health Coaching service to the members.
