Description:
We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious 1st shift Forklift Driver to join our Shipping Department . In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring timely and accurate shipment of products. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and experienced with warehouse operations and forklift equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently
- Load and unload trucks, verifying materials and quantities
- Move, stack, and organize pallets and freight in the shipping area
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and wrapping
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shipping dock
- Perform daily equipment checks and report any maintenance needs
- Collaborate with team members to meet shipping schedules
- Follow all company safety protocols and procedures
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift 50+lbs and stand for extended periods
- Familiarity with shipping documentation and processes
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
