Travel Physical Therapist – Shelbyville, IL MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment starting 05/25/2026. The position requires 40 hours per week, 8‑hour days. Employment type: Travel. Responsibilities Assess referenced patients requiring rehabilitation services, including evaluation of medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, and rehabilitation potential. Provide direct patient care and administer treatment programs with specific goals aligned to the patient’s capacity and tolerance under physician direction. Set realistic, achievable goals; document and record patient condition; educate patients and families about physical therapy methods. Develop individual patient care plans. Provide skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders. Assess patient needs, plan for, evaluate, and modify care to meet physical therapy goals. Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient. Qualifications Doctorate in Physical Therapy or Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy with NPT certification. Graduated from an accredited physical therapy program. Minimum one year of professional experience. Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist (PT) or actively pursuing licensure.
