The Branch Manager will pursue strategic long-term revenue and profitable asset
growth through the leadership and management of retail banking. This position manages the
retail customer experience, organizational effectiveness, and business efficiency to increase
market share, drive strategic revenue growth and improve profitability.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the retail banking function in a manner that supports the Bank’s strategic goals, long-term revenue targets, and growth goals.
• Provide leadership, guidance, motivation, and direct supervision to the branch team
• Foster a retail banking culture focused on sales and service through leadership activities that set clear expectations, provide development opportunities and empower front-line employees.
• Responsible for oversight of customer acquisition strategies and customer growth programs.
• Ensure the “day-to-day” retail operational processes are effective, efficient, and align with the Bank’s key objectives for customer growth and retention while managing costs and working within budget allocations.
• Supervise, coach, and develop the Branch Leadership – focusing on employee commitment, superior service, and the execution of enhanced sales activities.

Other responsibilities include:

Coaching, leading, and motivating the retail team toward individual, branch, and bank-wide goals.
Developing new lending relationships and manage retail (consumer, mortgage, HELOC) lending portfolio.
Coordinating all retail functions of the branch.
Leading by example in providing superior customer service and follow-up, including developing, building and maintaining customer relationships.
Cultivating key relationships in the Derby community.
Identifying and calling upon potential customers.
Promoting and fostering teamwork across all areas of the bank.
Qualifications
We are seeking friendly, organized, self-motivated candidates with:

-Two or more years of banking or retail leadership
-4 year degree preferred in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field.
-Positive, energetic, and professional personality.
-Superior customer service abilities and ability to develop, build, and maintain relationships.
-Strong work ethic that supports a willingness to handle multiple tasks with efficiency and accuracy.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Ability to perform intermediate financially analysis under moderate supervision.
-Proficiency with computers and technology, specifically including Excel.
