Overview Certified Surgical Technologist – Adult OR Cedar Park Med is hiring experienced Certified Surgical Technologists for a an Adult Operating Room opening in Syracuse, NY. This is a 13-week travel assignment with possible extension, ideal for a Surgical Tech with strong trauma and specialty case experience who can support a fast-paced adult OR setting with minimal orientation. Schedule / Shift Evening shift Mix of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts Shift options may include: 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM 13-week assignment with possible extension Required Qualifications Current Surgical Technologist certification required Minimum of 3 years of recent Surgical Tech / Operating Room experience Recent experience must include Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center experience Experience with trauma, orthopedic, general, ENT, vascular, and GYN cases Strong scrub experience in a fast-paced adult OR setting Ability to work independently with minimal orientation Strong understanding of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and operating room workflow Responsibilities Scrub and assist during surgical procedures in a Downtown Adult OR setting Support trauma, orthopedic, general, ENT, vascular, GYN, and other specialty cases as assigned Prepare and maintain the sterile field Ensure instruments, equipment, and supplies are available and functioning properly Anticipate surgeon and procedural needs during cases Support safe, efficient operating room workflow Communicate effectively with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia staff, and other OR team members Follow hospital, department, and sterile technique standards at all times Benefits Paid Time Off Vacation Pay Bonus Pay Health Insurance 401(k) Professional Development and Career Advancement Opportunities Employee Recognition Programs Annual Appreciation Gifts Access to Third-Party Leadership Training About Cedar Park Med Cedar Park Med is a woman-owned, JCAHO-certified healthcare staffing firm — not an MSP — working directly with healthcare facilities.
