Director of Sales

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Sales to lead sales strategy, drive revenue growth, and develop high-performing sales teams. This individual will be responsible for establishing sales objectives, expanding market presence, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring the achievement of business goals through effective leadership and execution. Position Responsibilities Sales Strategy & Planning Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with organizational objectives. Identify growth opportunities, market trends, and competitive advantages. Establish sales targets, performance metrics, and revenue goals. Revenue Growth & Business Development Drive new business acquisition and expand existing customer relationships. Identify and pursue strategic partnerships and market opportunities. Develop plans to increase market share and customer retention. Team Leadership & Development Lead, mentor, and develop sales managers and sales professionals. Establish performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching and support. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Customer Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders. Address customer concerns and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Support strategic account development and long-term partnership growth. Sales Operations & Performance Management Monitor sales performance, forecasting, and pipeline management. Analyze sales data and market intelligence to guide decision-making. Ensure efficient sales processes and consistent execution across the team. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with marketing, operations, finance, and leadership teams to support business objectives. Align sales initiatives with company-wide strategies and operational capabilities. Contribute to product, service, and market development initiatives. Prerequisites Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. Proven experience in sales leadership, business development, or revenue management. Strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth. Experience managing and developing high-performing sales teams. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong analytical, forecasting, and strategic planning abilities. Ability to build relationships with customers, partners, and executive stakeholders. Proficiency with CRM systems and sales performance reporting tools. Certifications (Preferred, but not Required) MBA or advanced business-related degree. Certified Sales Leadership Professional (CSLP) or similar sales leadership certification. Professional certifications in sales management, business development, or strategic leadership. What the Role Offers Salary Range: $135,000 – $160,000 per year.
