Data runs on STACK.THE POSITION:STACK is seeking an experienced and highly collaborative Lead Scheduler, Preconstruction to support the planning and scheduling of data center development projects during the preconstruction phase. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules within STACK’s established scheduling program, providing clear visibility into key milestones, dependencies, and risks for project teams and STACK leadership.The ideal candidate brings both strong technical scheduling expertise and a planner’s mindset – someone who can think strategically about how projects should be sequenced and executed, while also producing high-quality schedules that build confidence in the work product of the preconstruction team. This individual must be effective working with stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds, both internal and external to STACK, and be able to communicate schedule logic, risk, and status clearly and credibly.Develop and maintain detailed preconstruction schedules from initial planning through handoff to construction, aligned with project milestones and program objectives.Build and update schedules within STACK's scheduling framework, maintaining accurate logic, dependencies, durations, and milestone dates.Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to integrate design, permitting, procurement, utilities, commercial, and other key workstreams into a cohesive schedule.Lead schedule working sessions to validate assumptions, sequence activities, identify constraints, and surface risks early.Analyze critical path, near-critical path, float trends, and milestone movement, and recommend mitigation or recovery actions.Prepare schedule updates, milestone reporting, and what-if analysis for project teams and STACK leadership.Support continuous improvement of scheduling standards, templates, and reporting practices across preconstruction.THE DETAILS:Location: Denver, COTravel: Domestic and international travel required; 10-20% at timesCompensation: Competitive and commensurate with experienceBenefits: Healthcare, Dental Care, Vision Insurance, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Paid Leave ProgramsMust be eligible to work in the United StatesMust pass comprehensive background and drug screeningMUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent work experience7-10 years of direct project scheduling experience on large-scale, complex projects3-5 years of data center or mission-critical scheduling experience, ideally in preconstructionPreferred experience with a developer or hyperscalerStrong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and diverse stakeholder groupsProficiency with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and TeamsTHIS MIGHT BE RIGHT YOU IF:You think like both a planner and a scheduler, and you translate complex inputs into a clear path to execution.You communicate well with varied stakeholders and explain schedule logic, tradeoffs, and risks in a practical way.You stay calm in ambiguity and manage shifting priorities, urgent requests, and multiple timelines without losing clarity.You are naturally curious and driven toward continual improvement, and you build trust through dependable work product.Compensation Range:$140,980.00 - $163,240.00THIS MIGHT BE RIGHT FOR YOU IF:You are a strong communicator, you are persuasive and clear, blending analytics with experience in decision-making.You do not get flustered easily.
