Job Description Job Description Traveling TIG Welder Based in St. Cloud, MN | 60% Travel | Full-Time $27/hr During Training → $35.10/hr After Training & Union Affiliation Per Diem + 100% Paid Travel (Flights, Hotels, Rentals) We're hiring an experienced TIG Welder for a traveling role working in power plants and industrial facilities across the U.S. This is a long-term career opportunity with structured training, strong pay progression, and full travel support. What You'll Do * Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, copper, and steel * Complete aluminum pipe welding (horizontal and vertical) * Install, inspect, and maintain electrical bus duct systems * Read and follow blueprints and technical procedures * Work in power generation and industrial environments * Travel to job sites across the U.S. (~60%) What We're Looking For * 2+ years TIG welding experience (outside of school/trade program) * Strong blueprint reading and fabrication skills * Comfortable with travel, heights, and industrial job sites * Valid driver's license * Must live in MN, SD, ND, IA, or WI * OSHA 10 required * Real ID or passport required Additional Requirements * Must pass background check and drug screen (including marijuana) * DOT physical and pre-placement exam required * Ability to obtain access credentials for nuclear facilities What We Offer * $27/hr during training * $35.10/hr after training & union affiliation * Per diem while traveling * Fully paid travel (flights, hotels, rental cars) * 3-year apprenticeship program * Health, dental, vision, life insurance + retirement benefits (after vesting) * Long-term career growth with specialized training If you take pride in high-quality welding and want to build a long-term career in a specialized, travel-based role, we'd like to connect
