Electrician

Journeyman Electrician – Georgia‑Pacific – Camas, WA Starting wage: $48.75–$53.44 per hour DOE, plus a $1.50 per hour shift differential for Swing Shift and a $3.00 per hour shift differential for Graveyard Shift. A $3,000 sign‑on bonus is payable after 120 days. Responsibilities Equipment and process troubleshooting PLC and drive maintenance Control wiring installation and repair Assist crew members in a team environment Support a safe working environment by adhering to safety rules and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on all types of industrial equipment Basic Qualifications High school diploma or GED Experience with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Windows drive applications Four years of electrical experience in an industrialized, manufacturing environment Preferred Qualifications Advanced technical degree or training in electrical and instrumentation Experience in the pulp and paper industry Proficiency in industrial motor controls, PLC, motor controls, control valves, electrical distribution, industrial instrumentation for flow, pressure and temperature (ABB, Siemens, Honeywell, Emerson) Possession of a Washington electrical license or a reciprocal license Benefits Medical, dental and vision coverage; health savings account with a flexible spending account; life insurance; short‑term disability; 401(k) with employer match; paid vacation and time off; educational assistance; infertility assistance; paid parental leave and adoption assistance.
