Phlebotomist OpportunityValley Medical Group is looking for a Phlebotomist to join our Laboratory team and work in our Easthampton Health Center. If you are looking for a dynamic environment, this is your opportunity!Position: PhlebotomistLocation: EasthamptonHours: Per diem, typical hours Monday-Friday generally between 6:30am-5:00pm. Hours may vary depending on department needs. Exact schedule to be discussed at time of interview.As a Phlebotomist, the candidate must have the ability to collect blood from patients of all ages through venipuncture. A successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, good customer service skills, and be proficient in computers, data entry, and the operation of equipment.Job Responsibilities:Collecting samples from patients of all agesProcessing and accessions of clinical specimensChecking patients in and out, scheduling appointments, answering phones, greeting patientsRequired Qualifications:Graduate from a Phlebotomy Program or Medical Assistant ProgramPrevious customer service or medical office experienceHigh School graduate or equivalentAdditional Preferred Qualifications:CPT preferred, but not requiredEMR experience preferred, Athena experience a plusIf you do not meet all of the preferred qualifications, we strongly encourage you to apply and/or inquire.
