Atlas Bobcat, part of the Atlas Companies, is currently hiring full-time Service Technicians to join our new branch opening in Kankakee, IL. Any level of experience is welcome to apply!

What You'll Do Day-to-Day:

• Identify, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on equipment using Bobcat technical software.
• Perform preventative maintenance per manufacture specifications.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products sold and serviced by Atlas Bobcat.
• Keep the service lead informed of all current and potential issues related to service repairs.
• Maintain an inventory of necessary and customary technician tools in good working condition.
• Complete service repair assignments in timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety guidelines.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• General mechanical knowledge and experience; experience with hydraulics, electrical or drive systems is preferred but not required.
• Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment in industrial or automotive industries.
• Strong communications skills.
• A willingness to learn and be trained.
• The ability to manage time and attendance. You must be dependable, self-motivated and be able to work in a team environment.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• This position requires but is not limited to standing, bending, crouching, twisting, pulling, pushing, and lifting to 80 lbs., routinely 20-50 lbs.
