Electrical Mechanical Technician

Job Details: 3rd shift Electrical Mechanical Technician in Monroe, NC. Salary: $28 - $31 per hour. Why join us? Job Details 3rd shift 11pm-7am. Electrical Mechanical Technician. Monroe, NC. The person will provide maintenance and new installation support to the production facility, applying knowledge of wiring diagrams, schematics, and electronics to design, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair systems. Responsibilities Troubleshoot complex problems and perform necessary repairs associated with electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Draw and read blueprints and schematics. Program and troubleshoot PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc.). Install electrical systems and electronics, including conduit, control panels, and motor drives. Assist electrical repairs 120-480V, motor replacement, fuse replacement, light fixtures, switches. Review work orders and update system (Limble). Follow preventative maintenance schedule and perform inspections, repairs, and installations. Use power tools, measuring devices, and hot‑work equipment. Respond to emergency events. Comply with site safety, emergency, operational, security, quality, and environmental procedures for all maintenance/engineering projects on site. Support OSHA and all other safety and environmental regulations. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Three years of electrical, mechanical, or maintenance experience. PLC trained with experience using PLCs. Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Preferred Qualifications Professional license or Electrical Contractor’s license. Forklift and aerial lift experience. Knowledge of Arc Flash. College courses or associate degree. Project coordination experience. CAD. SAP experience.
