The Details Primary Requirements: Physical Capability: Ability to safely and consistently lift, stack, and move heavy crates and boxes ( 50–75 lbs ) throughout the day. Safe Food Handling: Understanding of safe food storage, temperature controls, and inventory rotation. Valid Driver’s License: Clean driving record required for running local donation pickups. High School Diploma / GED Public Experience: 1+ years working with the public—strong customer service and a team-first attitude. Basic Computer & Math Skills: Comfortable with basic computer use (Word, Excel, light data entry) and confident math skills. Responsibilities: This is a physically demanding role; you will be lifting, moving, and walking throughout your shift. Receive & Unload: Safely unload incoming delivery trucks and local donation pickups; sort, weigh, and stock items in the facility. Inventory Management: Organize storage areas, maintain FIFO (first-in, first-out) stock rotation, and track incoming food items. Donation Pickups: Drive our vehicle to local community partners to collect food donations and bring donations back to the kitchen. Food Processing: Assist with food dehydration, packet production, and packaging frozen prep meals. Supporting Roles: Cross-train to cover staff absences, assist guests warmly, and complete light administrative data entry as needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr
