Senior Accountant
Velocity Flex
We are seeking a highly driven General Accountant to support its growing finance operations. This role is ideal for a hands‑on accounting professional with strong technical skills, proven experience in Oracle NetSuite , and a commitment to accuracy, ownership, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead and execute month‑end and year‑end close activities with accuracy and timeliness. Prepare, review, and maintain general ledger entries , accruals, and journal entries. Perform bank, balance sheet, and intercompany reconciliations with strong attention to detail. Oversee AP/AR functions, cash flow tracking, and daily accounting operations as needed. Utilize Oracle NetSuite to maintain financial data integrity, run reports, and streamline processes. Assist with audits, compliance requirements, and internal controls. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 3–7 years of progressive accounting experience , ideally in manufacturing, distribution, or related industries. Strong proficiency in Oracle NetSuite (required). Demonstrated experience with reconciliations , GL management, and financial reporting. Solid understanding of GAAP. Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data analysis). Strong work ethic , reliability, and a proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset.
