Full Steam Staffing is hiring a Junior Accountant in Jupiter, FL! Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our financial operations by managing daily accounting activities and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced accounting professionals while gaining exposure to multiple aspects of financial management, including reporting, reconciliations, and audit support. Location: Jupiter, FL Salary: $50,000 annually Benefits: Medical, Dental, AD&D, Vacation, Flex, Holiday, Telemedicine, Anniversary Day, Bereavement, Paid Sick Leave Key Responsibilities Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are accurately recorded Manage accounts payable activities, including invoice processing and reconciliations Assist with preparing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports in accordance with accounting standards and company policies Review and verify expense documentation for accuracy and compliance Maintain and update financial data in internal databases and accounting systems Prepare and submit weekly and monthly financial reports Support senior accountants with month-end and year-end closing processes Participate in accounting projects and process improvement initiatives Assist in preparing documentation and schedules for the annual audit process Qualifications & Skills Proven experience in a Junior Accountant or similar accounting role preferred Strong organizational and time-management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience with Accounts Payable and bank reconciliations Familiarity with QuickBooks or comparable accounting software Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities Working knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting practices #J-18808-Ljbffr
