As a Shop Porter, you are a valued member of our team, performing essential duties such as:

• Moving vehicles as needed to different locations on the dealership lot
• Cleaning the interiors and exteriors of vehicles
• Performing maintenance tasks; check fluid levels, charge battery, wash and wax, etc.
• Placing stickers and signs on vehicles
• Providing assistance with keeping the lot clean and tidy at all times.
• Starting vehicles regularly and making sure there are no issues with them
• Driving and handling all vehicles responsibly to ensure damage prevention and protecting dealership property at all times.
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Preferred Candidates have the following skills and qualifications:

• High school diploma and/or GED equivalent required.
• 3-5 years of experience in trucking and/or automotive industry
• Good driving record and Valid CDL required
• Good Customer Service Skills
• Ability to perform well under pressure and understand the fluctuating needs of our customers
• Ability to read work orders submitted by various departments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Thorough understanding of how to use tools required for the trade.
• Computer proficiency
