Full Time Health Information Manager Behavioral Health Hospital
Knoxville Center for Behavioral Medicine - a comprehensive inpatient behavioral health facility. Our center will provide acute behavioral health care and outpatient treatment to adults and geriatric adults who are in crisis from severe symptoms related to behavioral health and/or substance use disorder.
Are you a certified Health Information professional ready to lead and make an impact Join our Behavioral Health team and play a vital role in maintaining accurate secure and compliant patient medical records.
What Youll Do:
Lead and oversee all Health Information Management (HIM) services
Ensure medical records meet federal state and facility guidelines
Audit records for accuracy timeliness and compliance
Maintain strict confidentiality and data security
Supervise train and support medical records staff
Oversee ICD & CPT coding processes as needed
What Were Looking For:
High School Diploma required; Bachelors in Health Information Administration preferred
RHIT CCA or CCS certification required
2 years supervising a medical records department preferred
1 year behavioral health experience preferred
Strong leadership communication and organizational skills

- 64-bed acute inpatient setting
- IOP/PHP oversight
- Adult and Geriatric client population

- Acute intervention focus with short term stays
