Position: Maintenance Supervisor Location: Essex, MD Pay: $70k/year Type: Full-time; Direct Hire Schedule: 1st Shift HireOne Staffing is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join a growing and dynamic team! Job Description: Supervise, train, and support the on-site maintenance team Assign and prioritize daily work orders and maintenance tasks Ensure service requests are completed within 24 hours Oversee apartment turns and ensure units meet company standards Inspect buildings, grounds, vacant units, and property systems regularly Coordinate preventative maintenance and curb appeal initiatives Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance issues Assist with maintenance work orders and emergency repairs as needed Manage maintenance inventory, supplies, and equipment Schedule and oversee outside vendors and contractors Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports Ensure compliance with safety standards, Fair Housing regulations, and company policies Complete and approve payroll through ADP Maintain clean, organized maintenance shops and work areas Participate in a 24-hour on-call rotation: Respond to calls within 15 minutes Arrive on-site within 30 minutes when required Perform snow and ice removal during winter weather events Travel between properties as needed Perform additional duties as assigned Position Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required HVAC certification required Minimum 3 years of residential maintenance experience, including supervisory responsibilities Valid driver’s license required Reliable transportation required during all scheduled shifts Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical repair work Must provide reliable phone and email contact information Must supply and maintain tools necessary to perform daily job duties Job Perks: Transportation Allowance Phone Allowance Company-Provided Cell Phone 8 Paid Holidays Paid Funeral Leave & Jury Duty Leave Health Benefits (eligible 1st of month after 60 days): Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance Employer-paid Life Insurance Voluntary Life Insurance options Short-Term & Long-Term Disability Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Retirement (eligible after 3 months, age 21+): Traditional & Roth 401(k) options Additional Perks: Employee Recognition Program Discounted Housing HireOne Staffing is part of Array Corporation, the leading technology-enabled workforce solutions company whose mission is to fix how work is bought, sold and delivered to enable access to the American Dream.
