Project ManagerWe're working with an established commercial general contractor based in the Portland metro / SW Washington that's actively looking to bring on a Project Manager to support a steady pipeline of commercial work, with a growing presence in multifamily projects.This role will be responsible for managing projects from preconstruction through closeout, working closely with ownership, field teams, and subcontractors to keep jobs moving on schedule and within budget. While the work isn't exclusively multifamily, the team is looking to bring on someone who has ground-up multifamily experience and can step into those projects as they continue to expand in that space.This is a good opportunity for someone who wants a stable pipeline, direct visibility with leadership, and the ability to take real ownership of their projects.Key ResponsibilitiesManage projects from preconstruction through closeout across commercial and select multifamily workHandle buyout, subcontract negotiation, and contract executionDevelop and maintain project schedules in coordination with field teamsLead OAC meetings and serve as the main point of contact for clients and consultantsOversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentationTrack project costs, forecasting, and overall financial performanceCoordinate with superintendents to ensure field execution aligns with schedule and budgetSupport estimating and preconstruction efforts as neededEnsure projects are delivered safely, on time, and in line with contract requirementsPreferred Qualifications4+ years of experience as a Project Manager with a general contractorExperience supporting ground-up multifamily projectsStrong understanding of buyout, contracts, and cost controlProficient with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and standard PM toolsAbility to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with both field and clientsConstruction-related degree or equivalent experience preferredCompensation & DetailsStrong benefits package and long-term growth opportunityStable project pipeline with a mix of commercial and multifamily work
