Production Control Lead performs duties as assigned by the Supervisor, including inter-departmental projects and working with the Inventory Control team to research merchant and customer issues preventing the allocation of product. This is a critical role within our operation that maintains reporting, problem solves unforeseen issues, and recommends solutions to enable effective and efficient workflows. As part of our team environment, you may be asked to complete tasks not listed on this job description. You'll help establish the best ways to achieve critical tasks, as well as the reporting standards that indicate success or improvement opportunity. This position requires experience with Production Control, Volume Planning and Labor Planning. This role requires working on the warehouse floor throughout the duration of each shift.

Preferred experience with Conveyor Automation and/or Robotics experience is a plus, but not required.

Maintain a clean, professional, and safe working environment by meeting or exceeding SCLS corporate safety goals.

Follow directions given by Production Controllers to complete daily job tasks.

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations with great interpersonal skills.

Strong reasoning, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Must become highly proficient with WMS (Korber, formerly High Jump) and drive efficiencies through systemic improvements.

Verify accuracy of orders in the WMS.

Ensure exceptional customer service by meeting or exceeding all key performance indicators.

Solicit feedback and modify actions as appropriate to continually focus on improvements of company processes to ensure the customer's needs are met for high-quality, cost-effective logistics services.

Promote constant and measurable improvement; teach and facilitate SCLS' culture of continuous improvement.

Effectively communicate SCLS goals, expectations, areas for improvement and successes to associates.

High School diploma: technical school or college degree preferred.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Excellent guest service skills

Maintains positive and respectful attitude while working independently and in a team environment.

PC skills – Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), internet, web-based and job specific software applications.

Ability to develop and use collaborative relationships to accomplish work goals by listening, sharing ideas, and appreciating others' efforts.

Identify and understand issues, problems, and opportunities; possess solid judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills.
