(Montclair Campus) seeks an experienced Full time Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction. Statement of Position The Supervisor shall be responsible for all professional and non-professional staff as well as the coordination of programs to ensure the provision of optimum special education services. The Supervisor must maintain a safe and healthy school environment that is conducive to learning. At the present time this may also involve oversight of an established cross-campus collaboration with other administrators, and maintaining regular contact with staff, families, and sending districts. Qualifications Valid New Jersey Administrator Certificate with Supervisor Endorsement Minimum of 3 years of successful supervisory experience Knowledge and experience in Special Education Evidence of vigorous leadership qualities Ability to connect with and successfully involving a diverse school community Valuing and integrating the arts as core components of the academic experience Promoting collaboration with faculty, staff, parents, and community to achieve goals Establishing a positive school culture that engages students and staff to grow and excel Curriculum Development and Revision Working knowledge of Google Suite for Education Experience in best practices for preparing for a successful IEP meeting. Knowledgeable in assisting staff in writing meaningful IEP Goals and Objectives. Knowledgeable in assisting staff in writing meaningful Progress Reports.
