Outpatient Primary Care locums coverage in Texas Corrections facility with no call and a predictable weekday schedule, seeing adult patients only. Fast credentialing is available for physicians who can start in late September 2026.

Highlights

• No call required
• Fast credentialing, as quick as 2 weeks once paperwork is complete
• Routine general primary care in an outpatient setting
• Weekday, full time coverage, 40 hours per week

Practice Setting

• Outpatient preventive care and general primary care
• Adult patients only
• Average volume is 20 patients per day
• Support includes APPs and RNs

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, full time
• 40 hours per week required
• Daytime hours, exact start and end times have some flexibility
• No 4 day, 10 hour schedule

Cases and Procedures

• General primary care visits
• Routine primary care procedures

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Texas license required, facility will not wait for a license
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, Board Eligible within 5 years accepted, General Practitioner accepted
• BLS and DEA required
