Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position in Iowa, requiring an active IA or compact RN license and OR/surgical nursing experience.

Job Details

• Work in the Surgery/OR unit of an acute care hospital setting,
• Day shift schedule, 9:00 AM - 6:30 PM,
• 36-hour workweek option (0900-1830) or 40-hour workweek option (0800-1830),
• Weekend rotation required approximately every 4th-5th weekend,
• Weeknight on-call required approximately every 1-2 weeks,
• Holiday coverage via on-call rotation,
• 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Active IA RN license or a compact RN license recognized in Iowa,
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required,
• Current ACLS certification required,
• Current NIHSS certification required,
• License verification dated within 30 days of start date required for consideration,

• Local candidates are accepted for this position in Iowa,
• COVID vaccination card required for consideration,
• Professional references required for consideration,
• Provide BLS card with both front and back of card visible
