Interventional Cardiology Nurse and Scrub Tech

Location: Sierra Vista, AZ

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 06:00 - 16:30

Job Description: The Interventional Cardiology Nurse and Scrub Tech will be responsible for assisting in diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cath lab. They will provide patient care before, during, and after procedures, ensuring the highest level of safety and comfort for all patients.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with vascular embolization, port placements, vascular stenting, nephrostomy tube placements, and other interventional procedures.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor patient vitals and assist in sedation during procedures.
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper sterilization standards are met.
• Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic health records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must possess an RN, RRT, or RCIS certification.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in diagnostic and interventional procedures is required.
• Ability to work on call, with a requirement of 12 days per month.
• Experience with IVUS, FFR, IVL, IMPELLA, IABP, and other cardiology-related technologies preferred.
