The pay rate range for this job position is $132,020 to $200,240. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of relevant factors including but not limited to applicant’s skills, prior experience, qualifications, degrees, professional certifications, work arrangements and geographic location. Baker Tilly offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package to eligible employees.

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and review commercial transactions, contracts and agreements; provide counsel regarding interpretation of active contracts and handle dispute resolution. Significant involvement throughout the contract lifecycle for diverse subjects.
• Manage multiple contracts and projects in a deadline‑driven environment.
• Work with legal, risk management and business leadership to assist/lead on projects related to process improvements, risk mitigation and legal policy development.
• Collaborate with external vendors and legal counsel as necessary.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate required.
• At least 3 years of experience in a law firm (preferably Am Law 100 firm) or as an in‑house corporate attorney.
• Ability to work effectively within a demanding, deadline‑driven environment.
• Experience with information privacy laws, HIPAA, PHI, BAA and related agreements preferred.
• Knowledge of employment law a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel is required.
• Project Management experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently or as a member of a team.
• Travel up to 10%.
