Role Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scrum Master to lead agile practices across our software development teams. The ideal candidate will facilitate agile ceremonies, remove impediments, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration. This role is critical to ensure timely delivery of high quality software solutions aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide and coach the development team on Agile/Scrum principles and practices.
- Facilitate daily stand ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Ensure the team adheres to Scrum theory, practices, and guidelines.
- Remove impediments and foster an environment for high performing team dynamics.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to manage and refine the product backlog.
- Track and communicate sprint progress, velocity, and other key metrics.
- Promote transparency and visibility across teams and stakeholders.
- Support the team in achieving commitments and delivering value.
- Drive continuous improvement through feedback and retrospectives.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum master in software development projects.
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in scaled agile environments.
- Technical background or familiarity with software development lifecycle.
- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
