Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Surgical ICU night shift position requiring active IL RN licensure and 2+ years of SICU experience. Requirements Active IL RN license required at time of acceptance IA RN license or compact license must be applied for at time of acceptance if not already active Minimum 2 years of SICU experience required Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Epic EMR experience required Experience with titratable sedation, titratable pressors, titratable insulin, and Heparin required Must be comfortable floating across campuses if needed Driver's license required for consideration One supervisory reference required, from within 2 years of employment/contract Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission required Responsibilities Surgical ICU (SICU) unit within a Level 1 trauma center Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week Weekend rotation required every third weekend, including holiday rotation No on-call requirements May be required to float across local campuses within the same discipline Uses Epic EMR system Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary care team for SICU patients Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility based on driver's license address Cannot have been employed by the facility's health system within the past 12 months Required to work 1-2 of the 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) At least one completed travel contract is preferred but not required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUsGenerous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler
