Description This is on-site Nashville position, not remote Owns the inbound product strategy, roadmap, and execution for OCI DevOps tooling, translating customer, developer, and operator needs into high-impact product capabilities. Evaluates opportunities using customer value, technical feasibility, market dynamics, and alignment with OCI strategy. Engages directly with enterprise customers, prospects, partners, field teams, and industry analysts to understand DevOps workflows, pain points, and emerging needs across areas such as CI/CD, infrastructure automation, developer experience, release management, observability, security, and platform engineering. Synthesizes qualitative feedback and product data into clear problem statements, prioritized requirements, and measurable outcomes. Leads discovery, validation, and roadmap planning for multiple products and features. Partners closely with engineering, UX, architecture, security, documentation, support, and go-to-market teams to define product requirements, make informed tradeoffs, and deliver high-quality releases. Establishes success metrics—including adoption, engagement, reliability, time-to-value, and customer satisfaction—and uses them to guide iteration and investment decisions. Serves as the voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring OCI DevOps tooling is intuitive, interoperable, secure, scalable, and aligned with how modern software teams build, deploy, and operate services. Drives customer escalations and usability improvements to resolution, while proactively identifying opportunities to simplify developer and operator workflows. Supports go-to-market readiness by developing product positioning, launch materials, demos, early-adopter programs, and field enablement. Builds strong relationships with design partners and customers, tracks adoption and feedback after launch, and continuously improves the product experience and roadmap based on real-world usage. Responsibilities Product Strategy, Market Insight, and Discovery Own inbound product strategy for OCI DevOps tooling, grounding priorities in customer impact, business value, technical feasibility, product data, and OCI strategy. Develop a deep understanding of modern software-delivery and platform-engineering practices, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, release orchestration, developer experience, cloud-native operations, security, and observability. Engage enterprise customers, design partners, prospects, field teams, partners, and analysts to identify unmet needs, workflow friction, emerging trends, and competitive opportunities. Analyze market, ecosystem, and competitive signals to inform product positioning, investment decisions, and differentiated capabilities. Translate customer and market insights into clear problem statements, opportunity assessments, hypotheses, and product requirements. Identify relevant security, compliance, reliability, and operational requirements for enterprise DevOps workflows. Product Definition, Roadmap, and Execution Own the roadmap and backlog for assigned OCI DevOps products and features, ensuring clear alignment to customer needs, business priorities, and measurable outcomes. Define product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, functional requirements, and non-functional requirements such as scalability, availability, performance, security, and interoperability. Partner with engineering, design, architecture, security, documentation, support, and program management to drive discovery, solution design, delivery, launch, and iteration. Make informed prioritization and tradeoff decisions across new features, technical debt, customer escalations, usability improvements, and operational quality. Establish product success criteria and track metrics such as adoption, activation, engagement, retention, time-to-value, deployment velocity, reliability, support trends, and customer satisfaction. Use qualitative feedback and quantitative data—including usage telemetry, service requests, defects, and customer escalations—to continuously improve the product experience. Manage delivery risks, dependencies, and decision points; communicate progress and tradeoffs clearly to stakeholders and leadership. Technical Product Leadership and Cross-Functional Alignment Serve as a credible technical partner to engineering teams, participating in architecture and design discussions to ensure proposed solutions solve customer problems effectively. Drive product decisions across interconnected OCI services, ensuring a cohesive experience for developers, DevOps engineers, SREs, platform engineers, and cloud administrators. Influence product direction through customer evidence, data, and clear narratives—not solely through organizational authority. Build alignment across engineering, field, support, security, marketing, and senior leadership; anticipate stakeholder concerns and resolve disagreement constructively. Define and facilitate customer validation, usability testing, preview programs, and post-launch learning loops. Customer Advocacy and Go-to-Market Act as the voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring OCI DevOps tooling is secure, scalable, intuitive, interoperable, and suitable for enterprise adoption. Maintain relationships with customers and design partners; recruit early adopters to validate new concepts, previews, and releases. Triage and prioritize customer issues, partnering with engineering and support teams to drive timely resolution and communicate product direction. Support product launches through release narratives, demos, field enablement, sales collateral, product documentation, and customer-facing presentations. Track adoption and customer outcomes after launch, using findings to improve onboarding, documentation, positioning, and future roadmap investments. Core ResponsibilitiesPlanning and Execution Independently manage moderately complex product initiatives, balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution. Maintain clear plans, milestones, decisions, dependencies, and delivery expectations across multiple concurrent features or workstreams. Provide product direction and prioritization to teams; coordinate work without assuming direct people-management responsibility. Collaboration and Problem Solving Work inclusively across diverse teams and perspectives to develop practical, customer-centered solutions. Analyze ambiguous problems using customer evidence, technical context, product data, and business considerations. Escalate material risks early, with a clear assessment, options, recommendation, and expected impact. Continuous Learning and Improvement Stay current on DevOps, cloud-native development, AI-assisted software delivery, platform engineering, security, and enterprise cloud trends. Improve product management practices, discovery processes, feedback loops, and team operating mechanisms. Mentor junior product managers or partner team members as appropriate, and contribute to hiring through interviews and candidate assessments. Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only US: Hiring Range in USD from: $92,900 to $209,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
