Tuff Turf is the leading lawn care and pest control company in West Michigan. We provide lawn fertilization, outdoor pest control, and mosquito control. We service the Grand Rapids and Lakeshore areas as well as areas near Kalamazoo. We have offices in both the Grand Rapids and Holland area.
We are hiring a Lawn Technician with a high standard for quality and dependability. Pay is commensurate with experience. This role is full time March through November and overtime is available. MDARD Core and 3A certification preferred. We provide study materials for first time certification applicants.
What you will do:
- A Lawn Technician applies fertilizer and weed control to our clients’ lawns using a zero-turn ride-on machine.
- The technician also keeps the client informed about issues on the lawns throughout the season.
- Manage a daily route of lawns on a mobile device
- Problem solve
- Work with other team members in your department to improve quality.
Pay: $19.00 - $27.00/hour commensurate with experience or certifications.
Equipment: We use Z Spray and Steel Green ride on equipment to spread fertilizer and spray herbicide. You drive a truck and trailer to each site during the day from our shop to complete the daily route of clients’ lawns.
