Pay Rate: Up to $53 per hour

The Rehabilitation Center of Winter Park in Maitland, FL is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our interdisciplinary care team. In this role, you will provide high-quality rehabilitative services that help residents improve mobility, regain independence, and enhance their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, gait, balance, and posture.

• Fit and train residents in the use of adaptive equipment such as orthotics and prosthetics.

• Apply appropriate therapeutic modalities based on diagnosis and functional ability.

• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and rehabilitation team members to deliver coordinated care.

• Monitor resident progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate documentation.

• Educate residents and caregivers on therapy techniques and home exercise programs.

• Participate in interdisciplinary care plan meetings.

• Supervise and mentor therapy assistants and support staff as needed.

• Assist with maintaining therapy equipment and supplies.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Florida Physical Therapist (PT) license required.

• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment.

• Passion for working with seniors and improving quality of life through rehabilitation.
