MRI Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

5x8-hour shift from 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM, Monday through Friday. On-call rotation may be required, including weekdays and weekends.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using magnetic resonance imaging technology. This role requires careful operation of MRI machines to ensure accurate diagnostic results while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans according to established protocols and procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Maintain MRI equipment and assist in troubleshooting as required.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and guidelines.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records and imaging results.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of MRI Technologist experience required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required.
• South Carolina MRI licensure preferred; candidates with a pending application will be considered.
