We are looking for a Texas-licensed litigation attorney to provide hands-on support for active civil matters in Plano, Texas. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced legal specialist who can quickly evaluate case posture, address urgent deadlines, and help drive matters forward in a remote environment. The role offers meaningful involvement in ongoing litigation and requires sound judgment, strong organization, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with attorneys and legal staff.Responsibilities:• Examine active litigation matters to determine current status, potential exposure, and immediate priorities.• Track and address critical case milestones, including court deadlines, hearings, depositions, and trial dates.• Recommend practical next steps and develop action plans to keep civil cases progressing efficiently.• Prepare and support discovery responses, dispositive motions, briefs, and other key litigation filings.• Contribute to case strategy for contested matters, with a focus on timely and effective legal execution.• Provide day-to-day legal coverage on active files and coordinate closely with attorneys and support staff.• Organize and manage litigation documents to maintain accurate, deadline-driven case handling in a remote setting.
